Turn off the equipment whenever you have to

cover ground and to go around obstacles. If
the equipment starts vibrating, unplug the cord
immediately. Check as soon as possible why it's
vibrating - that's a sure sign that it needs to be
adjusted or repaired.
Check regularly if all bolts are tight.

Before using the equipment, check if the blade

and the nylon filament spool are in place. Do a
visual inspection of the cutting blade to see that
it's not damaged or blunt. Replace the blade and
damaged or worn bolts to ensure balance.
Check the cord and never use insulating tape to

repair it.
Never hose down your equipment to clean it -

use a damp cloth and neutral washing product.
Warning!
Whenver you are cleaning or servicing

your equipment, always make sure
that it's turned off, that the blade isn't
running and unplug the cord.
Never use a dual-end blade.
