INFORMATION ON REPLACING AND
DISPOSING OF BATTERIES
Housed below the plastic cover underneath the manipulator console are 6 rechargeable 1�2 Volt
2600 mAh Ni-Mh AA penlight batteries connected in series in a battery holder�
These batteries are very easy to replace�
- Undo the 4 outer screws on the underside of the plastic cover beneath the manipulator console
to remove the battery compartment cover (Fig� 53a)�
- The battery holder, carrying the 6 penlight batteries, is situated
inside the compartment, encased between two protective shells
(Fig� 53b)�
- Remove the batteries and replace, if necessary, observing the
correct polarity�
N.B.: To facilitate replacement, the battery holder may also be
disconnected from the manipulator (Fig� 53c) by detaching the
power cable, allowing you to work in a more practical, well-lit
location�
- After fitting the new batteries, close the battery compartment
and charge�
IMPORTANT: Dispose of used batteries in accordance with
applicable legislation.

INFORMATION ABOUT DEMOLITION

If the machine is to be scrapped, remove all electrical, electronic, plastic and metal parts
and dispose of them separately in accordance with current provisions as prescribed by law�
INFORMATION AND WARNINGS ABOUT
Do not dispose of used oil in sewers, storm drains, rivers or streams; collect it and consign
it to an authorised disposal company�
Contain the spilt product from spreading using soil, sand or any other absorbent material�
The contaminated zone must be degreased with solvent, taking care not to allow vapours
to form or stagnate, and the residual material from the cleaning process must be disposed
of as envisaged by law�
Precautions for the use of hydraulic fluid
- Avoid contact with the skin�
- Avoid the formation or spreading of oil mists in the atmosphere�
- The following fundamental health precautions must therefore be adopted:
