3. Preparation and setup

Aesculap accepts no responsibility in the event the following parame-
ters are not adhered to.
When setting up and using the product, adhere to:
– government rules and regulations regarding installation and op-
eration,
– and national regulations on fire and explosion protection.

3.1 Stacking devices

Note
Materials that serve to connect the high-frequency surgical device
(GN 640) to other devices (with and without stacking devic-
es) are available as accessories and spare parts, see Accessories and
spare parts.
Do not exceed a maximum stack height of 475 mm.
Make certain the support (e.g. table, ceiling support, equipment
trolley) is sufficiently stable.).
Aesculap devices without integrated stacking devices: Remove the
feet of the upper device by hand or with the aid of a screwdriver.
Place the upper device on the one below it.
Put the stacking plates in place (see Fig.).
Check to ensure that the devices are properly seated in one other
by lifting them slightly.
Position devices so that they are stable.
Moving stacks of devices
Always lift stacks from underneath the bottommost device.
