12 | Warranty
The usual two-year warranty period applies for the trailer. The warranty period begins on the date of
purchase as per the proof of purchase. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, wear to
the tyres, the discolouration or fading of surfaces, improper use and damage caused by an accident,
improper handling, acts of nature, manipulation or attempted repairs by unauthorised or unqualified
persons, or a technically modified trailer. Failure to have the stipulated servicing carried out by a
specialist workshop (initially after 1,500 km and then every 5,000 km) will render the warranty cover
null and void. The warranty cover is also null and void if the device is used for commercial purposes
or other than its intended purpose. Damage caused by transportation or improper storage is also
excluded from the warranty.

Possible causes and remedies
One of the two wheels is out of balance or the towing couple/coupling
ball end is worn. In such cases, contact a specialist workshop.
The trailer may have been overloaded or the tyres are too old. Consult a
tyre dealer and have the tyres changed.
The cables may be faulty or the contacts on the plug connector/socket
may be corroded or no longer intact. Have the cables and/or contacts
checked by a specialist workshop.
The coupling fastener may be sticking. Clean and then lubricate the
coupling. If heavily worn, the coupling may need to be replaced.
The trailer may have been overloaded as a result of an excessive
load or improper use. It is imperative that you consult a specialist
workshop.
