WARNING!
Risk of injury!
If there is a motorcycle on the trailer, do not under any circumstances unfasten
the lashing straps before decoupling. The motorcycle could fall from the trailer
and cause personal injuries and/or material damage.
6.6 | Unloading the trailer
To unload, again select an even and horizontal surface with sufficient space.
Firstly, lower the trailer. Refer to images 1 to 6 in section 6.2. "Loading the trailer" for the procedure.
WARNING!
Risk of injury!
Make sure that you hold the lever handle firmly in both hands because there is a
much higher load applied to the lever as a result of the weight of the motorcycle
and you have to apply more force accordingly in order to lower the platform of
the trailer in a controlled manner.
Next, fold out the side stand of the vehicle and unfasten the knotted ends of the lashing straps
without unfastening the lashing straps themselves. Then, carefully unfasten the lashing straps on
the right-hand side of the vehicle so that the motorcycle can be set down on the side stand. Then
unfasten the lashing straps on the left-hand side of the vehicle.
For this process too we recommend that you have a second strong person help you in
order to hold the motorcycle in a vertical position so that the motorcycle cannot topple
over.
When pushing the motorcycle down off the trailer, make sure that you do not kick the lighting system
or the license plate holder.
