4. Configurations
4.1. Factory settings (default)
The product comes from the factory with the following network settings:
» WAN Interface (Internet Port): DHCP client (receives network IP).
» LAN Interface (PC Port): Bridge mode.
4.2. Network access
» DHCP: the IP telephone will receive an IP address, mask and gateway sup-
plied automatically by a DHCP server, making manual configuration unnecessa-
ry. If the IP telephone does not receive the network settings, check to see if the
IP telephone is configured as a DHCP.
» Fixed IP: the IP address, mask and gateway will be configured manually by
the user or the network administrator.
» PPPoE: when the modem is in Bridge mode and the IP telephone functions as
a PPPoE and router, ADSL authentication is performed by IP telephone.
