4.3.2 Performing another measurement
● To prepare a new measurement, press the button briefly. After the
sensor's recovery time (see "Technical data", page 19), READY is
displayed and the device is ready to use again.
4.4 Removing the mouthpiece
1. Pull the mouthpiece upwards out of the mouthpiece receptacle by
holding it on the grip zones on the left and on the right side.
2. Dispose of the mouthpiece in accordance with local regulations.
4.5 Menu control
4.5.1 Displaying the menu
To enter the device menu, the device has to be switched on and it has
to show READY.
1. Briefly press the button.
A menu symbol and the text Enter menu are displayed.
If the button is not pressed for 3 seconds, the device will return to
READY.
2. Briefly press the button again (within 3 seconds).
 The menu is entered.
If the button is not pressed a second time, the device will return
to READY.
The menu is exited automatically after 30 seconds with the
button not being pressed.
4.5.2 Navigating in the menu
In the main menu all menu options are listed one below the other.
To change and confirm the selected feature or value:
1. Briefly press the button several times until you reach the intended
position.
When the last entry is reached, the next button press will go back
up to the top.
