The washing machine vi-

Fabric softener is not being
flushed in
Foaming occurs in the de-

18.1. Display of error codes
The washing machine is equipped with an alarm system which shows error codes on the display (17) to
help identify minor problems. Simple errors can be pinpointed and their causes determined.
If the error cannot be solved using the table, contact the service department.
If an error is detected, the corresponding error code is shown on the display (17):
Possible cause
The waste water hose was placed
below the water level of the drum.
The pump filter is clogged.
The waste water hose was not in-
stalled correctly.
The waste water hose was placed
below the water level of the drum.
The transit bolts (8) were not re-
moved.
The washing machine was not lev-
elled when it was installed.
The feet have not been tightened.
The siphon tube is not fitted cor-
rectly or is clogged.
Too much detergent was added.
The amount of detergent was not
adjusted for the hardness of the
water.
The power supply was interrupted.
The water inlet or outlet was
blocked.
There is air in the drain system.
The programme is interrupted de-
pending on water pressure or for-
mation of suds.
Solution
Check that the end of the waste wa-
ter hose is located above the wa-
ter level in the washing machine (the
hose should be at a height of 0.6 m
to 1 m).
Check the pump filter.
Check the waste water hose.
Check the height of the waste water
hose, which should be at a height of
0.6 m to 1 m above the floor.
Check that the transit bolts (8) have
been removed.
Level the washing machine.
Tighten the nuts on the housing feet.
Clean the siphon tube.
Reduce the amount of detergent
used.
Use the correct dosage of detergent
for the degree of soiling and water
hardness (see instructions on the de-
tergent packaging).
Check the power supply and the
water inlet and outlet.
The water was pumped out of the drum,
but some water still remained in the
pump and the drain pipe.
Continuous operation of the drain
pump causes air to be sucked in and a
distinctive noise. This does not however
indicate a malfunction.
The washing machine refills with water
automatically.
The interval is caused by removal of ex-
cessive foam.
