9.4. Aqua stop
If the hose is damaged, the aqua stop system reacts and cuts off the water supply to the washing machine.
The indicator in the viewing window (see a, Fig. J) on the aqua stop device turns red in this case. The inlet
hose must be replaced.
9.5. Drainage
The waste water hose (9) is located at the rear of the washing machine.
NOTICE!
Possible material damage!
Risk of material damage if installed incorrectly.
Secure the waste water hose so that it does not move back and forth during operation
of the washing machine (see examples Fig. K, M, N).
The outlet of the waste water hose must be placed above the water level of the drum
(min. 0.6 m, max. 1 m, see Fig. K/L).
Do not push the waste water hose too deeply into the drain pipe!
Connect the waste water hose to a waste water drain pipe (see Fig. K) or to a siphon (see Fig. N) or
hang the end of the waste water hose in a sink (see Fig. M). Due to the water pressure at the hose out-
let, draining the waste water into a small washbasin is not possible.
If necessary, use a retaining bracket (not supplied) to hang the drain hose (9) in order to ensure that the
drain hose is firmly attached.
Make sure that the hose is free of kinks.
9.6. Connecting to the mains
Once you have connected the washing machine to the water supply and drainage, connect the mains
plug (10) to a power socket. (See Fig. O)
The power socket must be easily accessible so that you can unplug the appliance from the mains quick-
ly if necessary.
