 To fit, place the appliance cover at a slight angle from behind with the lugs pointing forwards, put the
appliance cover down and then push the appliance cover forwards until it audibly clicks into place.
 Screw the appliance cover back on using the two screws.

18. Troubleshooting

Malfunctions may occur during operation.
 Use the following table to check whether you can resolve the problem yourself. All other repairs are pro-
hibited and invalidate the warranty.
 Therefore, in the event of a fault, contact our Service Centre (see "23. Service/Repair" on page 68) or
another suitable professional repair workshop.
Problem
The washing machine is not
working.
Water is leaking out.
Unpleasant odour from the
drum.
No water in the drum.
The wash result is poor or
the laundry was not clean.
The washing machine does
not fill with water.

Possible cause

The power supply is interrupted.
The water supply is interrupted.
The washing machine door (4) is
not closed properly.
The wash cycle has not started yet.
The inlet hose is not firmly at-
tached.
Wash residues have accumulated
in the drum.
The water supply is interrupted.
The aqua stop has triggered.
Too little detergent was used.
The amount of detergent was not
sufficient for the hardness of the
water.
Grease spots/detergent residues
The pump filter is clogged.
The water supply is interrupted.
The wash programme has not
started yet.
The water pressure is too low.
The inlet hose is not firmly attached
or has been kinked or otherwise
blocked.
The washing machine door (4) is
not closed properly.
Solution
 Insert the mains plug into a suitable
socket.
 Check the fuses.
 Check the power supply.
 Turn on the stopcock.
 Clean the filter on the water supply
hose.
 Close the washing machine door
(4).
 Press the Start/Pause button (12).
 Connect the water hose correctly.
 Switch on a programme with min.
60°C for self-cleaning.
 Turn on the stopcock.
 Check the hose and replace if nec-
essary, see also "9.3.1. Aqua stop"
on page 50.
 Use the correct dosage of detergent
for the degree of soiling and water
hardness (see instructions on the de-
tergent packaging).
 Carry out a drum cleaning pro-
gramme (see "17.1. Drum cleaning"
on page 61.
 Increase the amount of detergent.
 Clean the pump filter.
 Turn on the stopcock.
 Check the setting of the wash pro-
gramme.
 Check the water pressure.
 Reconnect the water hose.
Check that the water hose is not
kinked or blocked.
 Close the washing machine door
(4).
