• The programme duration and the energy and water consumption values may vary depending on the
weight and type of wash load, the selected additional functions, the properties of the water supply and
the ambient temperature.
14. Tips on saving energy
For efficient use of your washing machine, observe the following instructions:
 Do not use the prewash programme if your laundry is only lightly soiled. This will save electricity and
water.
 The most efficient programmes in terms of energy consumption are generally those with longer running
times and lower temperatures.
 Use the
(quick 15') programme for smaller amounts of laundry.
Schnell 15'
 Modern detergents allow washing at lower washing temperatures. Therefore, use a programme with low
temperatures (e.g. Cotton 20 °C programme) to save energy.
 Loading your washing machine up to the load weight specified by the manufacturer for the respective
programmes will help you save energy and water.
