To advance (return) to the next (previous) index
number

To advance to the next index number, press [ —*] button @;
if the button is held depressed, the track playback will be ad-
vanced continuously to subsequent index numbers.
@ To return to the beginning of the current index number, press
[ +] button @; if the button is held depressed, the track play-
back will be returned continuously to previous index numbers.
NOTE:
Index numbers are special signals pre-recorded on tracks to indi-
cate further subdivision of the tracks. Not all discs are recorded
with index numbers; those so recorded will be indicated by the word
"INDEX" in the album notes.
If the specified index number dose not exist, the playing will search
for index 7.
To begin playback from a desired place on the disc
(time location function)

de piste sera continuellement avancée aux numéros d'index sub-
séquents.
@ Pour retourner au début du numéro d'index actuel, appuyer sur
la touche [ 4—] (2; sila touche est maintenue enfoncée, la repro-
duction de piste sera continuellement ramenée aux numéros
d'index précédents.
REMARQUE :
Les numéros d''index sont des signaux spéciaux pré-enregistrés sur
les pistes pour indiquer une division supplémentaire des pistes. Tous
les disques ne sont pas enregistrés avec des numéros d'index ; ceux
qui en possédent portent la mention "INDEX" dans les notes de
album.

Si le numéro d'index spécifié n'existe pas, la reproduction recher-
chera I'index 7.
Pour
commencer
la reproduction

When the unit is in the stop mode, press either [PP] or [44] but-
ton @), to designate the point at which you wish playback to begin
(in units of seconds). If the button is held depressed, the time will
advance in ten-second increments,
at first slowly, then at high
speed.
Increment the time by pressing [PP] button @, and decrement the
time by pressing [44] button @3. By using these buttons together
with the track search buttons [PPI] and [ 4] @, you can desig-
nate the desired time on any track.
After designating the playback start time, press PLAY button @
to begin playback at the designated point.
NOTES:
@ /f no time is designated, playback will begin at the beginning
of the track.
@ /n the case of tracks numbered above 31, the time within the
track can still be set, but if the chosen track is shorter than the
designated time, playback will begin from the beginning of the
track.

Lorsque l'unité est dans le mode d'arrét, appuyer sur fa touche [PP ]
ou [4] @® pour désigner le point auquel vous voulez que la repro-
duction commence (en unités de seconde}. Si la touche est main-
tenue enfoncée,
la durée sera avancée en pas de dix secondes,
d'abord lentement, puis rapidement.
Augmenter le temps en appuyant sur la touche [PP] @) et le réduire
en appuyant sur la touche [ 44] @. En utilisant ces touches ensem-
ble avec les touches de recherche de piste [PPI] et [44] @, il est
possible de désigner le temps désiré sur n'importe quelle piste.
Aprés avoir désigné le temps de début de reproduction, appuyer
sur la touche PLAY @ pour commencer
la reproduction au point
désigné.
REMARQUES :
@ Siaucun temps n'est désigné, la reproduction commencera au
début de /a piste.
@ Dans le cas des pistes numérotées au-dessus de 31, le temps
dans Ia piste peut tout de méme &tre réglé, mais si la piste choi-
sie est plus courte que le temps désigné, la reproduction com-
mencera au début de Ia piste.
