4 Function and assembly
NOTICE! Transportation in inadequate or faulty packaging.
Damage to the scanner.
– Ensure that the scanner is transported exclusively in the packaging provided.
– Do not expose the scanner to moisture or heat at any point during transport.
– When stored for extended periods, keep the scanner in a dry place in its original packaging. This
should prevent corrosion and contamination.
Make sure that the reference points of the calibration plate are not damaged as otherwise
calibration is no longer possible.
– Check if the packaging is undamaged. If this is not the case, document the damage and contact
your dealer.
– Pay attention to the warnings on the packaging when transporting the scanner.
– Transport or store the scanner well protected, dry and in upright position in its original packaging.
– Ensure that the storage provisions in the specifications are complied with.
4.1 Unpacking the unit
Dispose of the packaging in an environmentally friendly way (paper into paper recycling, plastic
into plastic recycling, etc.). We recommend keeping the packaging in case of returns.
– Open the top of the packaging and remove the foam cover with the accessories.
– Pull the scanner out of the packaging via the two notches on the sides.
– Remove the holder of the swivel arm. Inside the holder are the accessories delivered with the
scanner.
– Check that all parts included in the delivery form are present.
