OPERATION AND FUNCTIONS
Storage o ood in the ridge-reezer
•
The products should be placed on plates, in containers or packed in
ood wrap. Distribute them evenly over the shelves.
•
I the ood contacts the rear wall, it may cause rosting or wetting o
the products.
•
Do not put dishes with hot ood into the ridge
•
Products which absorb avours easily such as butter, milk, white
cheese and products with intense avour, such as sh, smoked meat,
hard cheese must be placed on shelves, packed in ood wrap or in
tightly sealed containers.
•
The storage o vegetables containing signicant quantities o water
will cause the deposition o condensation on the vegetable contain-
ers, it does not impact on the proper unctioning o the ridge.
•
Beore putting the vegetables into the ridge, dry them well.
•
Excessive moisture shortens the shel lie o vegetables, especially
the leaed vegetables.
•
Do not wash the vegetables beore storing in the rerigerator. Wash-
ing removes the natural protection, thereore it is better to wash the
vegetables directly beore consumption.
•
It is recommended to place the products in reezer drawers 1, 2, 3*
up to natural loading capacity (Fig. 11a / 11b).**

•
Stacking o products on the reezer shelves is acceptable.*
•
It is acceptable to place products beyond the natural loading capacity
by 20-30 mm.**
•
In order to increase the loading capacity o the reezer chamber and
allow the stacking o products on the reezer evaporator wire shelves
up to maximum height it is possible to remove drawers 1 and 2.*
Freezing ood**
•
Practically all the ood products, except or vegetables consumed
raw, such as lettuce can be rozen.
•
Only ood products o the highest quality, divided into small portions
or single use, should be rozen.
•
Products should be packed in materials that are odourless, resistant
to air and moisture penetration, and not susceptible to at. Plastic
bags, polyethylene and aluminium sheets are the best wrapping ma-
terials.
•
The packaging should be tight and should stick to the rozen prod-
ucts. Do not use glass containers.
•
Keep resh and warm oodstu at ambient temperature away rom
the products, which have already been rozen.
