CAUTION! Risk of overheating
• Ensure that the fan coil is at least 3 ... 4 cm away from the wall to allow the ambient air to circulate.
• Ensure that the flow of the return air grille to the intake side of the fan coil is not obstructed by any
objects.
NOTICE! Damage hazard
• Install the fan coil only in the position specified in these instructions.
• Ensure that the specified installation position is accepted by the shipyard.
• Install the fan coils on solid mounts.
• Connect the fan coil to a suitable wall socket.
• If it is necessary to add another cable for the length, ensure that the original connection is main-
tained.
• Avoid incorrect wiring to prevent short circuits.
• Ensure that there are no heat sources in the vicinity of the temperature controller.
• Ensure that the pipes, air chambers, connections, and branches are insulated. The insulation must
reach completely to the walls of the fan coil.
NOTE
• ALU series only: Do not reduce the cross section of the fan coil (see
page 30).
• AP and TWIN series only: Do not use the fan coil as a built-in device.
Installation location
• Install the fan coil in an accessible location for operation and maintenance.
• Install the fan coil so that the filter is easily accessible.
• Ensure that the fan coil is not affected by heat sources.

• The piping should be as short as possible.
• Ensure that the ducts and hoses are sealed.
• Use only grilles with the specified size (see
