Before commissioning
CAUTION
Danger of injury!
Do not insert the battery until the battery-powered tool
is ready for use.
Inserting the battery
1. Push the battery (29) into the battery mount (26). The
battery (29) clicks into place audibly.
Removing the battery
1. Press the unlock button (30) of the battery (29) and
remove it from the battery mount (26).
Charge battery
1. To charge the battery (29), follow the instructions in
the operating instructions for the battery (29) and bat-
tery charger (28) used.

Operation
CAUTION
Danger of injury!
Do not insert the battery until the battery-powered tool
is ready for use.
ATTENTION
Wear hearing protection!
Use suitable hearing protection when you are near the
device.
ATTENTION
The product is only suitable for continuous use. Use the
product for a maximum of 2 minutes. If the product
overheats, remove the battery immediately. Start up the
product again when it has cooled down.
Note:
The product vibrates during operation. Therefore, place it
on a firm and level surface during operation. The greatest
inclination from the horizontal is 10º. There are four feet
on the underside of the product for this purpose.
9.1
Switching between battery and
mains operation
Note:
When operating with a 12V DC power source, the ciga-
rette lighter's fuse must have a value of at least 15 A. If
the actual value is less than 15 A, the fuse may melt. If
you have any questions or doubts in this regard, please
contact the vehicle manufacturer. No liability can be ac-
cepted for improper applications.
Note:
Make sure that the product is switched off and secured
against being switched on.
1. Place the product on a level, even surface.
2. To power the product via the battery (29), insert a 20V
IXES Series battery into the battery mount (26) and
set the selector switch (2) to "Li-ion".
3. To supply power to the product via the mains cable
(230 V AC), connect the mains cable (230 V AC) (20)
to a properly installed socket and set the selector
switch (2) to "Plug" for mains operation.
4. To supply power to the product via the connection ca-
ble (12V DC) (8), connect the cable to a 12 V DC
power source (cigarette lighter) and set the selector
switch (2) to "Plug" for mains operation.
9.2
Using the compressed air function
Note:
ATTENTION
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the product can lead to damage.
• Observe the manufacturer's specifications and safety
instructions for objects that are to be inflated.
• Shortly before switching off, the pressure shown in the
display may be 0.05-0.2 bar higher than the preselect-
ed pressure due to overpressure in the air hose.
• The product is suitable for inflating car, motorbike and
bicycle tyres, sports balls or similar.
• The maximum operating pressure of the high-pres-
sure pump is 10.3 bar.
Note:
Using the ON/OFF button, you can choose between PSI
(psi), BAR (bar) and KPA (kPa) units. The selected unit is
indicated on the display.
1. Unwind the compressed air hose (9) completely.
2. Open the lever of the valve adapter (9) and connect
the compressed air hose to the object you want to in-
flate. If necessary, use one of the adapters from the
storage compartment (15).
3. Press the lever of the valve adapter (9) down again.
4. Connect the product to a power source or insert a bat-
tery (29) into the battery mount (26) as described in .
5. Switch off the product by pressing and holding the on/
off button (4) for 5 seconds.
6. It is now possible to set the desired pressure using the
"-" button (3) and the "+" button (5). Use the "-" button
(3) to decrease the pressure and the "+" button (5) to
increase the pressure. Holding down the "-" button (3)
or the "+" button (5) while selecting changes the pres-
sure more quickly.
7. Once the desired pressure has been selected, switch
on the compressed air function by setting the on/off
button (4) to compressed air. The product audibly
starts and begins to pump. The product pumps the
connected object up to the pressure preset on the dis-
play and then switches off automatically.
8. To switch off the product, set the on/off button (4) to
"O".
