EXHAUST MUFFLER (TC-TE-TXC)
The muffler reduces the noise of the exhaust gases, but it is an
integral part of the exhaust as well. As such, its conditions af-
fect the motorcycle performance.
When the noise on the exhaust is too high, it means that the
deadening material set on the holed tube inside the muffler is
deteriorated.
WARNING: Check the deadening material af-
ter every competition and replace it if neces-
sary.
REPLACING THE MUFFLER DEADENING MATERIAL

saddle, screws (2) and L.H. side panel (3). Using an 8 mm T-
shaped spanner on the outside and a 10 mm T-shaped spanner
on the inside, remove the locking screw (4) of the muffler.
Remove the spring (5) and with an 8 mm T-shaped spanner re-
move the screw (8); then pull out the muffler.
