Adding shims to the counter -
knife
We can see in the adjacent image, in the manual
set accompanying the crusher, two counter- knife
shims are included, with a thickness of 0.45 mm.
As the knives are sharpened, there is the
possibility of adding these shims under the
horizontal counter-knife to compensate the
distance between the knife and counter knife
after sharpening lost.
The shims (1) can be used separately or together,
slightly loosening the nuts (2) of the counter-
knife and by inserting them between the body
and the counter- knife, as shown in the layout
direction (3).
Counterblade
Horizontal and vertical counterblades shall be
turned over when they show signs of wear.
When both sides have been used, they shall be
replaced.
To remove all counterblades do as follows:
1. Remove the belt guard.
2. Remove the pulley and the bearing from the
body.
3. Remove the fixing cover of the body.
4. To access the disk bearing on the other
side of the crusher, remove the bearing
protection.
5. Remove the bearing disk assembly set and
then remove from the body of the crusher.
6. Remove the fasteners of the horizontal and
vertical counter knife, after this procedure
you can remove to sharpen or change them if
they are badly worn.

You could get cut when servicing
blades and counterblades. Whenever
cleaning or servicing, use proper tools
and protection equipment.
Disconnect equipment from power
supply whenever servicing or
cleaning.
