Be sure to connect the VVF cable (max. ø1/16)
in the U-shaped groove.
Note:
1. The U-shaped groove opens if you push the
screw head after the screw is loosened.
2. Be sure to insert cables that have the same
diameter.

Secure the remote controller cable and indoor-outdoor
connection cable with the cable strap.
If only one indoor-outdoor connection cable is connected,
secure it using the cable strap according to the dimensions
marked on the diagram.

5.1. Indoor unit
* Be sure to complete the electrical work before installing the grille.
1. Loosen the two screws securing the electrical wiring service panel at the cable
entry (power cable), and then turn the service panel to the position shown in the
diagram. (Fig. 5-1)
2. Loosen the one screw securing the electrical wiring service panel at the cable entry
(remote controller cable and indoor-outdoor connection cable), and then turn the
service panel to the position shown in the diagram. (Fig. 5-2)
3. Loosen the two screws securing the electrical box cover, then slide the cover and
remove it. (The cover may be hung temporarily.) (Fig. 5-3)
4. Route the cables into the indoor unit through the respective cable entries.
5. Connect the cables securely to the terminal boards. (Fig. 5-4, 5-5)
Note:
1. For the tightening torque of the terminal board screws, refer to the table below.
2. Leave suffi cient slack in the cables so that the electrical box can be suspended
below the unit during servicing.
6. Secure the power cable with the cable strap on the unit. (Fig. 5-4)
7. Secure the remote controller cable and indoor-outdoor connection cable with the
cable strap on the unit.
8. Install the removed parts in their original locations.
