TUNING INTO STATIONS
(Tuner section operation)
1. Select the desired broadcasting band
using BAND selector button.
2, Press FREQ/STA
button
to select
frequency mode.

3. Press TUNING "+" or "~" button for
higher or lower frequencies.
[Auto tuning]
Press "~" or "+" button untilthe frequency
starts to change, then release it.
The tuner will automatically searches for
a broadcasting station, and stops when
one is found, and the TUNED indicator
lights up. To search for another station,
press again.

To interrupt auto tuning, press "—" or
"+" button again.
NOTE:
When auto tuning is in use, reception
may not be possible for distant stations
or when signals are weak. At these times
manual tuning is recommended.
[Manual tuning]
Press "—"
or "+"
button
and release
quickly.
The tuning frequency will change by one
step each time the button is pressed.
Press as manytimes as necessary
to tune
in the desired
station.
The
TUNED
indicator tights up when the station is
tuned in best.

If you
keep the "—"
or "+"button
depressed
after the frequency has
begun
to
change,
the
reception
frequency changes continuously, and
stops when the button is released.
4. Adjust
VOLUME
control
on the
amplifier section.
SINTONIZACION EN
ESTACIONES
(Operacion de Ia
seccion del sintonizador)
1. Seleccione
Ja banda
deseada
de
retransmisién,
utilizando
el botén
selector de banda (BAND).
2. Presione
el botén
de frecuencia/
estacién (FREQ/STA) para seleccionar
el modo de frecuencia.

Laindicacién de frecuencia de FM
o AM aparecera en el visualizador.
3. Presione el botén de sintonizacion
"+" o "=" (TUNING) para conseguir
frecuencias mas altas o mas bajas.
{Auto-sintonizacion]
Presione el botén "—" 0 "+" hasta que la
frecuencia empiece a cambiar, después
libérelo.

El sintonizador
buscaré automaticamente
una
estacién
de retransmisién,
y se
detendré
cuando
encuentre
una,
y. se
iluminara
el
indicador
de
gntonia
(TUNED).
Para
buscar
otra estacién,
vuelva a presionar.

Parainterrumpirla auto-sintonizacion,
presione el botén "—" 0 "+" una vez
mas.
NOTA:
Cuando
esté
utilizando
la
auto-
sintonizacion, es posible que no pueda
efectuar la recepcion
de estaciones
distantes o de senales débiles. Para estas
ocasiones, se recomienda la sintonizacion
manual.
{Sintonizacién manual]
Presione el botén "=" 0 "+" y libérelo
rapidamene.
La frecuencia de sintonizacién cambiara
un paso, cada
vez que el! botdn
sea
presionado. Presione tantas veces como
sea necesario para sintonizar la estacion
deseada.
E! indicador
de sintonia
(TUNED) se ilumina cuando la estacién
haya conseguido su mejor sintonizacion.

Si usted mantiene el botén "—" 0 "+"
presionado
después
de
que
la
frecuencia hayacomenzado acambiar,
la frecuencia de recepcién cambiara
continuadamente,
y se detendra
al
liberar el boton.
4. Ajuste
el
control
de
volumen
(VOLUME)
en
la
seccién
de
amplificador.
