Basic Operations

Press the POWER button to ON.

Set the SOURCE DIRECT button to the OFF
position.

Adjust the tone as required with the BASS
and TREBLE tone controls. Adjust the
balance between the left and right
channels with the BALANCE control.

Select the desired source with the
FUNCTION (source) selector.
(The FUNCTION indicator will light.)Press
the POWER button to ON.

Select the desired surround mode with the
SURROUND MODE buttons.
(The SURROUND indicator lights in the
display.)

Select the speaker system to be used with
the SPEAKERS select buttons.
< With the unit in the STEREO mode,
speakers "A" and "B" can be selected
simultaneously.
< If the unit is to be operated in any of the
surround modes, speaker selection is
automatically limited to SPEAKERS A only.

Start playing the source component.

Gradually turn up the volume to the
required level with the MASTER VOLUME
control.

Presser la touche POWER sur ON.

Ajuster la tonalité comme voulu avec les
commandes de tonalité BASS et TREBLE.
Ajuster la balance entre les canaux
gauche et droit avec la commande
BALANCE.

Sélectionner la source désirée avec le
sélecteur FUNCTION (source).
(L'indicateur FUNCTION s'allumera.)

Sélectionner le mode Surround désiré
avec les touches SURROUND MODE.
(L'indicateur SURROUND s'allume dans
l'affichage.)

Sélectionner les enceintes acoustiques à
utiliser avec les touches de sélection
SPEAKERS.
< Avec l'appareil dans le mode STEREO, les
haut-parleurs "A" et "B" peuvent être
sélectionnés simultanément.
< Si l'appareil est à faire fonctionner dans
un des modes surround, la sélection des
haut-parleurs est limitée automatiquement
aux SPEAKERS A uniquement.

Lancer la lecture de l'appareil source.

Relever progressivement le volume au
niveau requis avec la commande MASTER
VOLUME.
