Bravo and BravoCALOR
Bravo and BravoCALOR can be installed horizontally, with the filter drain valve always facing downward. See
the attached Technical diagrams and data sheet for the correct installation of the equipment. Any other
configuration could result in incorrect operation of the equipment.
BravoDUE
BravoDUE can be installed horizontally or vertically, with the filter drain valve always facing downward. Vertical
installation with the filter drain valve in a lateral position is not permitted. See the attached Technical diagrams
and data sheet for the correct installation of the equipment. Any other configuration could result in incorrect
operation of the equipment.
Keep to the flow direction shown by the stamped
arrow (indicating the water inlet/outlet direction).
BravoDUE comes with the water inlet on the right (see Installation 1). The filter has a rear connection plate that
can be rotated 360° (in 90° steps). The direction of the connection plate can be changed from that provided by
the manufacturer as follows:
• unscrew the filter plate retaining nuts and remove them (with a no. 6 Allen key);
• turn the plate in the desired position while keeping the arrow pointing in the water inlet direction and ensuring
that the white moulded gasket between the plate and the head is positioned correctly;
• insert the plate onto the filter body and tighten the retaining nuts evenly to compress the gasket.

Warning! The backwash water drainage pipe cannot be fixed directly to
the filter.
The filter drainage pipe should be placed at a minimum distance of 20 mm from the
drain valve. The minimum diameter of the drainage pipe should be 50 mm.In the
absence of a fixed drainage pipe, a container can be positioned to collect the
flushing water.
B1.6 Commissioning
Ensure that the installation has been carried out according to the instructions in this
document and complies with all local regulations. Open the shut-off valves upstream
and downstream of the filter. Open the nearest tap downstream of the filter to
remove any air trapped inside it. Check for any leaks. Flush the system in
accordance with local regulations. Write the date of installation in the "Maintenance
Log".
