Premier Ductable Heater
Upper Gas Control Valve
1. Open and remove the upper and lower burner door.
2. Disconnect the CSST nut from the upper gas valve
assembly. See Fig. 19.

3. Disconnect the high limit wires and the igniter cable.
4. Remove the top five screws of the burner shield.
See Fig. 20.
• DO NOT remove the two lower screws.

5. Remove the burner shield from the heat chamber.
6. Remove the two screws and spacers holding the burner
casting to the burner plate.
7. Remove the four screws securing the gas valve plate to
the base. See Fig. 21.
8. Remove the two screws securing the gas valve bracket
to the base. See Fig. 21.

9. Lift up on the burner casting and gas valve
assembly.
10. Pull the complete assembly out of the heater to
be work on a bench.
11. Remove the bolt securing the gas control valve
assembly to the burner casting.
12. Replace gas control valve or orifice as needed.
