7.4 Setting up and using the
single-hinge joint ladder
A) Use as a stepladder:
The ladder must stand securely and firmly on
the ground.
The hinge joints [C] and locking clamps [D]
must be locked.
B) Use as a single ladder:
The ladder must stand securely on the ground
and be leaning against a flat and secure
surface.
The hinge joints [C] and locking clamps [D]
must be locked.
Secure single ladders before using, e.g. tie
down to ensure stability.
C) Storage:
The single-hinge joint ladder's individual
elements can be folded together and pushed in
for storage and transport.
The hinge joints [C] and locking clamps [D]
must be locked.
