5. Safety instructions
Leaning ladders with rungs shall be
used at the correct angle.
Ladders used for access to a higher
level shall be extended at least
1 m above the landing point and
secured, if necessary.
Only use the ladder in the direction
indicated.
Do not lean the ladder against
unsuitable surfaces.
Ladder shall never be moved from the top.
Do not stand on the top three steps/
rungs of a leaning ladder.
Do not step off the side of standing
ladder onto another surface.
Open the ladder fully before use.
Do not stand on the top two steps/
rungs of a standing ladder without
a platform and a hand/knee rail.
Standing ladders shall not be used
as a leaning ladder.

Before using, all locking clamps
must be checked and completely
engaged.
Single-jointed or multi-purpose ladders should be
unfolded and folded together when they are lying
on the floor and not in their position for use.
Make sure that the joints are
locked.
Single -hinge joint ladder
(foldable ladder part)
do not use without the
extendable ladder sides.
Only step on the ladder
when it is locked.
Locking pins can be
seen on the inside of the
safety joint.
Danger of pinching!
If handled without due
care, fingers or hands
can be pinched or
trapped on parts of the
housing.
