• 2 nuts and 4 washers M5 for mounting purposes
• 2 diodes for turn signal indicator
Security Advices
Before attempting to connect the instrument eit‑
her disconnect the negative battery wire or pull
the main fuse.
For routing the wires, use existing wire channels.
Do not route wires parallel to ignition wires or
other wires that go to high ampère consumers.
Fix wires with tape ans/or cable ties.
On wiring the instrument, please pay attention to:
• do not route wires over moving or hot parts
• protect wires that go through cases or walls
with grommets
• do not put stress on wires (such as pressure,
tensile strain, shear strain). Put attention to
steering and shock absorber movements.
• strip wires with appropriate tools, do not cut the
strands

• isolate unconnected wires (to avoid shorts)
Erroneous connections and short circuits can
cause fires, exploding batteries or damage to the
device and other electrical systems.
Always use proper tools to install the instrument
and its electrical connections (crimp and pinch
connectors).
When using adhesives, follow the manufacturer's
safety instructions.
The displayed speed must never be lower than and
only 4% higher than the actual speed driven. As
the installer of the instrument, you yourself are re‑
sponsible for the correct settings.
Despite the wide working voltage range of 6 V ‑ 15
V, the instrument cannot work with 6 V systems.
A battery must be present in the motorcycle for
operation. Operation without a battery may cause
damage to the instrument, as the voltage is not or
is insufficiently regulated under these conditions.
Remeber: Fuses protect from current peaks, but
not from voltage peaks.
Installation
• The instrument must be decoupled from vib‑
rations and oscillations (mounting in rubber).
This is taken into account when using accessory
holders from MMB. When installing in self‑made
orifices or if self‑made supports are used, a
rubber mount must be considered.
• When making supports, allow sufficient space
for the M4 Torx screws on the back of the inst‑
rument. Do NOT remove these.
• Observe the max. torque of 4 Nm for the M5
threads.
• The enclosed menu button switch has an M4
thread. Do not apply more than 1 Nm to the nut.
