installing the product.

Damage to the product and encoders!
Engaging or disengaging live connecting elements can
cause damage to the product or encoder.
Do not engage or disengage the cable between the
encoder and the product while under power

Connecting the line voltage

WARNING
Risk of electric shock!
Improper grounding of electrical devices may result in
serious personal injury or death by electric shock.
Always use 3-wire power cables
Make sure the ground wire is correctly connected to
the ground of the building's electrical installations
WARNING
Fire hazard due to wrong power cable!
Use of a power cable that does not meet the
requirements of the mounting location may cause a fire
hazard.
Use only a power cable that meets at least the
national requirements of the respective country in
which the product is mounted
Use the supplied power cable to connect the power
connection X6 to a grounded power outlet

NOTICE
Damage to the product caused by improper external
power supply unit
Use of an improper external power supply unit may
cause damage to the product.
Use only an external power supply unit that meets the
following specifications:
• Rated voltage: DC 24 V (–15 % to +20 %)
• Output current: max. 50 A
• Electrical separation through the use of SELV or
PELV circuit
• Connection of the product to functional ground
The product is supplied with power via an external power
supply unit. The external power supply unit is not included
in delivery.
Connect the cable of the external power supply unit to
the included 24 V connector
Connect the 4-pin connector to the power connection

Connect the external power supply unit to the power
outlet
