Range
We measure the mileage of power chairs with uniform standards and methods, but there
are still differences in actual mileage due to the differences in terrain, user weight and
environmental conditions.
The measured mileage is based on the ISO 7176-4 standard.
The theoretical maximum mileage of an power chair should be indicated, but the mileage
is still reduced due to the following single or combined or environmental factors:
1.
The user weighs more than 120 kg
2.
The battery's operating conditions and age are lower and older than required
3.
Difficult, unsuitable terrain (i.e. hilly, sloping ground, muddy ground, gravel,
grass, snow and ice, and other environmental factors);
4.
The slope on which the power chair climbs
5.
Extreme ambient temperature
6.
Tire wear
7.
Frequent driving and parking
8.
Indoor thick carpet.
Note: When you are driving outdoors and find that your power chair status light is red, you
can increase your mileage by lowering the maximum available speed.
We have set out a battery care plan for maintenance free batteries. If a different care plan
is followed, this may result in lower than expected performance from your power chair.
