BATTERY, CHARGING AND BATTERY MAINTENANCE
Battery
If the appearance of the battery is damaged, please handle it carefully. Watch out! The
battery fluid is corrosive. Avoid direct contact. If contact with skin or clothing occurs, rinse
immediately with soap and water. If it comes into contact with your eyes, immediately
rinse your eyes with water for at least 10 minutes and seek medical attention. In this case,
call your local dealer for assistance. Please do not dispose of the battery as ordinary
waste. Follow local laws!
Charging
1. Charge the power chair only with an approved charger.
2. No matter how many times your power chair is driven in a day, your battery will
fully charge overnight. Please do not interrupt the charging cycle.
3. If you are not using your power chair for a long time, continue to charge it
regularly. This will not damage the battery.
4. When the power is turned off, do not connect the charger plug to the handle
lever terminal, as this will drain the battery.
5. If you leave your power chair for more than 5 days, charge your battery for 12
hours, then unplug the charger and make sure the battery is disconnected.
6. Incorrect charging at full load can damage the battery and can result in shorter
driving distances and permanent failures.
7. Except in an emergency, do not charge intermittently during the day and wait
until the night to charge.
8. The battery needs to be checked regularly for signs of damage. If there is any
obvious damage, please contact your local dealer immediately.
Following all eight of these recommendations will help make your power chair drive
farther and your battery last longer.
Note!
Watch out! Do not short the battery terminals! Keep away from all conductive jewelry
(such as watches, necklaces, etc.) before checking the battery.
When charging is complete, remove the charging plug from the power chair. The power
chair cannot be operated while charging.
Maintenance
The type of battery used here is an internal battery that uses a completely sealed gel
electrolyte, which means that no special maintenance is required other than normal
charging. At the same time, the tightness of the battery compartment allows you to
transport safely without having to worry about electro-hydraulic spillage.
