Introduction
The TM 514 Common Rail Test is used for testing on diesel injection system
devices, more specifically Common Rail systems.
You can perform the following tests:
Injector Testing - Test one injector at a time, Inductive or Piezoelectric, checking
your electrical and mechanical conditions. For the mechanical conditions, a
leakage test and flow test are performed on each injector, measuring the
injection and return flow;
Pressure sensor test - Test pressure sensors with ease and precision;
Test pressure regulating valves (DRV, PCV, MPROP) - Tests various types of
pressure regulating valves, from those working directly in the high pressure
region such as those working on the inlet flow of the pressure pumps.
Through the above tests, it is possible to isolate the injection system problem (s),
facilitating the identification, repair and replacement of the correct device,
reducing costs.
The TM 514 equipment uses microprocessor-controlled electronic control
throughout the test system. This enables temperature and fluid pressure control
throughout the test. Stores the test data for later viewing and sending to the
computer.
For injectors, some tests are available:
Leak Test - performs the pressurization of Injector without trigger them to visual
check of leaks in nozzles and connections;
Pre-injection test, idle pressure test, partial load pressure test and full load
pressure test - Each of the above tests gives "ml" flow values for every thousand
injections, at system-specified rates.
If there is still a need for a more user-specific test, you can also configure
parameters for testing an injector using Common Rail PC Fast Software. This
test is classified as User Test Plan. Through it, the user can select the desired
pressure,
injection
time
and
injection
frequency.
For pressure regulating valve tests (DRV, PCV and others), the system can
provide information such as: valve resistance measurement and measures the
pressure regulating valve curve.
