Before any maintenance or cleaning work, place the
generator on a level surface, and remove the spark
plug cap from the spark plug.
Low oil level operation will cause severe engine
damage.
1. Place the generator on a flat floor;
2. Remove the screws, then remove the cap;
3. Remove the oil tank cap;
4. Fuel with the specified amount of oil recommended
(15W40) and put on the oil tank cap;
5. Place the cap and fasten the screws
Oil change operation:
Avoid taking the oil out of the engine shortly after you have
stopped the engine.
6. Place the generator on a level surface and allow the
engine to warm-up for a few minutes. Then turn the 3 in 1
switch, and the air vent knob to "OFF";
7. Remove the screws and then the cap;
8. Remove the oil tank cap;
9. Place an oil drain pan under the generator. Tilt the
generator to remove the oil from the tank;
10. Make sure that you have the generator on a level surface
when you put the new oil in;
Do not tilt the generator while you are pouring the oil. This
tilt can lead to overfilling, which in turn can lead to damage
to the engine.
11. Add oil to the suitable level;
12. Clean the cap and any oil that has been spilled;
13. Put the cap on the tank;
14. Place the cap and fasten the screws.
Never use the generator without air filter, with the filter
damaged or badly installed. If this happens, dust will enter
the engine, causing rapid breakdowns. This type of damage
is not covered by the dealer's warranty.
1. Unscrew the fixing screws and remove the filter cover;
2. Remove the filtering element and blow out with
compressed air until it is completely clean. If it is too dirty,
wash it with water and detergent, and let it dry completely;
3. Place the filtering element and assemble the remaining
components in the reverse order to disassembly.
The use of the dirty filter will restrict the air flow in the
carburetor affecting the generator performance.
To ensure proper engine operation, the spark plug should
be clean and with adequate gap between the electrodes.
1. Remove the side cover and access cover (1) and use the
spark plug wrench (3) to remove the spark plug cap e from
the spark plug (2).
2. Place the handle (4) into the spark plug wrench (5) and
insert it into the hole. Turn counter clockwise to unscrew
the spark plug and check that it is clean;
3. If not clean, remove the debris accumulated in the
electrode with a steel brush;
4. Measure the distance between the electrodes with a
suitable tool. The distance must be between 0.6-0.7 mm. If
necessary, bend the electrode until the appropriate gap is
reached.;
5. Perform a spark plug test:
▪ Connect the spark plug to the spark plug cap;
▪ Keep the spark plug electrode in contact with the engine
body and simultaneously pull the handle of the recoil
starter;
▪ If the spark between the electrodes is weak or non-
existent, test with a new spark plug.;
▪ If the problem remains with the new spark plug, repair
or replace the ignition system;
6. Make sure the sealing washer is in good condition;
7. Place the spark plug by hand to avoid damage to the
thread and fasten in such a way as to compress the sealing
washer using the wrench provided. The loose spark plug
may overheat and cause engine damage.
8. Place the side cover and the spark plug access cover.
