T-Connector Wiring Kit
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read instructions thoroughly before beginning.
2. Open the tailgate and remove the plastic trim panels
from both the driver's and passenger's side of the vehicle.
3. Locate the vehicle harness connectors behind the trim
panels and will have connectors similar to those on the
T-Connector.
4. Separate the vehicle
connectors on the driver's
side being careful not damage
the locking tabs. Plug the
T-Connector containing the
Yellow wire between the separated vehicle harness
connectors. Press the T-Connector ends firmly into the
vehicle harness connectors until they lock into place. Take
care not to damage the locking tabs.
5. Determine an appropriate position near the vehicle
harness to attach the grounding screw. Clean away any dirt,
debris or undercoating and drill a 3/32" hole.
Caution: Do not drill into any exposed surfaces or
through the vehicle body.
6. Attach the T-Connectors white wire with the ring
terminal to the vehicle using the #10 screw provided.
7. Repeat step 4 for the passenger side, using the T-
