T-Connector Wiring Kit
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read instructions thoroughly before beginning.
All wiring must be completed prior to testing.
2. Open the vehicles tailgate and remove
each of the tail light housing assemblies
by removing the two 10mm bolts on each
assembly and carefully pulling the housing
to the rear of the vehicle at the points
specified (Fig 1).
Caution: Prying at points other than
those indicated could cause damage
to the tail light housings.
3. Beginning on the left (drivers) side,
carefully pull the vehicle wiring harness
and the rubber grommet out a short distance (Fig. 2).
4. Using a utility knife, carefully slit
the grommet as indicated (Fig. 3) from
the hole for the tail light wiring harness
to the outside edge of the grommet.
Carefully cut away the tabs that
connect the grommet to the wires.
Caution: Take care not to damage
the vehicle wiring harness while cutting the
grommet.
5. With the driver's side grommet pulled away from the vehicle,
locate the 2-pin connector within the access hole. Plug the
T-Connectors mating end into the connector and route the
T-Connectors wires through the grommet (Fig. 4).
