T-Connector Wiring Kit
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read instructions thoroughly before beginning.
2. Locate the factory tow harness inside the lower body panels
near the left (driver's) side muffler.
The vehicle harness will contain
two connectors similar to those on
the T-Connector harness (Fig.1).
3. Carefully remove and discard
the two protective caps from the
vehicle harness connectors by pushing down on the
locking tabs and pulling away from the harness connectors.
4. Insert the mating ends on the T-Connector harness into the
vehicle connectors. Press firmly together until the locking tabs
engage.
5. Route the T-Connector harness
toward the left (driver's) side
muffler hanger, staying above the
lower bumper bracket bolt (Fig. 2).
Caution: When routing the
T-Connector harness, take
care not to bring the wiring into contact with
the muffler or exhaust pipe assemblies.
6. Using an alcohol wipe, clean the top of the bumper
reinforcement in the illustrated position (Fig. 3). Remove the
protective backing from the foam tape on the T-Connector's
black box.
