Environmental protection

If batteries need to be replaced, please observe the following:
• Take used GESIPA
• Never throw discarded batteries into the waste, into fire or into water!

Troubleshooting

3.1

Blind rivet cannot be set

Cause
No battery
Jaws dirty or worn
Jaw assembly loose

No spent mandrel discharge

Cause
Nosepiece too small
Dirt inside head
Spent mandrel container full
Mandrel tube blocked

LED lights flashing

Cause
No battery
Blind riveting tool overloaded
(LED flashes slowly – 1 Hz)
Blind riveting tool blocked on return (LED
flashes fast – 2 Hz)
batteries back to your agent or to GESIPA

Remedy
Charge battery; replace if necessary
Clean them and lubricate or grease the
sliding surfaces or replace them (see 1.9)
Tighten (see 1.9)
Remedy
Exchange according to table (see 1.4)
Clean (see 1.9)
Take off and empty
Remove blocked mandrel and check for free
ejection (see 1.7)
Remedy
Change battery (see 1.7)
Select rivet dimensions according to work
capacity (see 1.1, 1.7)
Unscrew steel head sleeve and remove
blockage (see 1.9)
for recycling.
