Laying the cable from the monitor to the camera
u Route the camera connection cable into the vehicle.
u Route the connection cable from the monitor to the camera
(see . H 13).
u Connect the camera connection cable to the extension cable.
u Apply at least 2 layers of good quality insulating tape over a length of
200 mm to insulate the plug-in connections (see . H 17).
u Securely fasten the cable in the vehicle to provent entanglement (risk
of tripping) using binders, insulating tape (see . H 15 and H 16) or
by gluing with adhesive.
u Do not start sealing the holes until all camera setting work has been
completed and the required connection cable lengths have been
determined.
For parts required for routing the cable from the monitor to the
camera see . H 13 to H 16.
Attention: The system plug connection does not provide any
protection against the ingress of water. Make sure that you seal
the connection point using a sealing strip. A self-vulcanising
sealing strip, e.g. from 3M, is best suited.
