4.1
Tool starting
•
Insert the battery (12) into its seat in the shear body.
•
Switch the shear on by means of the ON/OFF button (5). When the tool is used for the first time, the LED light indicator
(8) becomes green and the audible alarm emits just 1 beep.
•
Press the trigger two times. The blades will open automatically.
•
Normal pruning: Press the trigger to close the blades and release it to open them again.
•
Blade group closing position: Keep the trigger pressed. 3 long beeps indicate that the shear is in stop position.
•
In order to check the shear for proper functioning, before using it, press and release the trigger without carrying out cuts,
to close and open the blades. Repeat the operation more times.
•
The shear is fitted with two blade opening modes: 100% and 70%. To switch from one mode to the other, keep the
trigger pressed till the emission of one beep. Release the trigger and work in your usual way.
WARNING!
Do not work on trees or stairs, as it is extremely dangerous.
Before starting to work with the tool, wear suitable protective clothing. Check that all safety and protection systems
are functioning and correctly installed.
4.2
Battery charging
Connect the battery (12) to the battery charger (13) and the plug of the charger to the socket. The battery charger LED
light (pictures 1-2) becomes red while charging. When the battery is charged up, the LED light (pictures 1-2) becomes
green.
