6.1
Rinse cleaning bowls, lids incl. seals and cleaning needles
Fill the SYMPRO cleaning beaker up to the marked "MAX" fill level with clean
water Close the lid and clean the inside of the beaker by shaking repeatedly
EN
and intensely. When using the SYMPRO mini-cup, fill the cup to the brim under
running water
Use the magnet to fix the cleaing needles to the base of the SYMPRO beaker and
pour out the water This operation must be repeated at least 3 times with fresh
water
Then rinse the lid under running water Check visually whether the deposits have
been removed
6.2
Disinfection
For the manual or machine preparation of the system components see chapter „44 Hygienic Preparation"
• Manual: D1 - D7
• Machine (in the thermodisinfector): D8
6.3
Cleaning the appliance and the retainer magnet
Never clean the device under running water or immerse under water.
Do not steam clean.
DO NOT use solvent-containing (e.g. acetone), aggressive or abrasive cleaners.
To clean the appliance and the retainer magnet wipe only with a
damp cloth
We recommend regular disinfection with the aid of commercially
available surface disinfectants (*) according to the manufacturer's
instructions
Wipe the drip collector (Fig 5) at least once a day
(*) Recommendation:
Germany: Minute Wipes, ALPRO Medical GmbH
USA: CaviWipes, Metrex
6.4
Storage
If the device is not used again immediately, the cleaning needles
must be held on the underside of the cleaning beaker with the help
of the magnet Then, place the cleaning beaker upside down on its
lid so that it can drip dry
It is advisable to place a paper towel underneath to absorb the
moisture
If the device is not used for a longer period of time (eg vacation),
it is recommended to carry out hygienic preparation of the system
components before use (see chapter 44)
6.5
Adding cleaning needles
Cleaning the needles or removing the denture from the cleaning beaker can result in a loss of cleaning
needles This reduces the cleaning performance, which is why it is advisable to check the quantity at
regular intervals
To restore the intended quantity of 75 g of cleaning needles, place the dry cleaning beaker, including dry
needles, on some scales and add new needles to the total weight of 145 g (gross weight) as required
