Manual disinfection:
Disinfection process – Tweezers / Cleaning vessel for
Nicoclean
After use, place the tweezers and vessel into an instrument
bath with commercially available highlevel instrument disin-
fection liquid (*) for a high degree of organic soling and im-
merse according to the manufacturer's instructions�
(*) Recommendation:
Sporicidin, Contec / Metricide OPA plus, Metrex
Next cleaning process / Storage
The cleaning beaker and cleaning needles are now ready
for use again� If the next use is not carried out immediately,
the cleaning needles must be held on the underside of the
cleaning beaker with the help of the magnet� Then, place the
cleaning beaker upside down on its lid so that it can drip dry�
It is advisable to place a paper towel underneath to absorb
the moisture�
Machine disinfection:
Machine thermodisinfection of the cleaning beakers
(incl. lid WITHOUT needles):
The cleaning beakers, lids, silicone seals, sound-proof ring /
adaptor ring, and tweezers can be thermally cleaned and
disinfected in a certified cleaning and disinfecting device,
according to the "Hygiene requirements for the treatment of
medical Devices" (*)� For this purpose, all listed components
must be placed in the cleaning and disinfecting unit in a dis-
mantled state�
Take care when placing light parts appropriately
(e.g. in the instrument basket). The cleaning nee-
dles must only be disinfected manually! Observe
points D3 to D5 and store the disinfected clean-
ing needles in a suitable container (for example
cleaning cups, spare parts) only for the duration of
the cleaning process. Finally, for longer periods of
storage, see point D7.
SYMPRO components are not thermally steriliz-
able.
