Setting Up

4.1 Unpacking
⇒ Remove the device and all the accessories from the delivery package�
⇒ Check the delivery for completeness (refer to Sec� 3�2)�
4.2 Setup
⇒ Place the device on an acid-resistant and non-slip work surface; if necessary use a suitable support, in
a comfortable working height�
⇒ Place the tweezers supplied with the unit and the retaining magnets in the holder on the back of the
appliance (Fig� 1)�
Danger of injury through falling equipment!
Remove the retaining magnets from the holder when transporting the appliance.
4.3 Electrical Connection
Ensure the mains supply and voltage marked on the nameplate is identical.
The appliance should only be operated if the data on the rating plate corresponds with the data of
regional mains voltage.
⇒ Choose a power cable (15, Fig� 1) with the proper plug for your mains supply�
⇒ Connect the power cable (13, Fig� 1) to the power supply�
⇒ Insert the power plug into the building installed wall socket�
⇒ Turn on the appliance at the mains switch (12, Fig� 1)�
