Cleaning and Maintenance
Switch off and unplug the appliance before cleaning or servicing!

7.1
Housing
Do not steam clean the appliance.
Do not use solvent-based, aggressive or scouring cleaners.
⇒ Switch the appliance off�
⇒ Disconnect from mains�
⇒ Wipe housing with a damp cloth�
7.2
Seal Surfaces
The following seal surfaces must always be kept clean in order to ensure
correct vacuum built up and the secure retention of the mixing bowl during
the mixing process:
• Seal between the paddle and the bowl (28)�
• Seal between the appliance and the paddle (29)�
Tip
You should regularly coat the rubber seals with Vaseline. This will signifi-
cantly increase their service life and optimize to appliance's function.
7.3
Changing suction filter system
The suction filter system consists of a sponge filter (5) and a sinter
filter (14).
Vacuum can only build-up in a clean suction filter system.
Never operate the device without the complete suction filter!
7.3.1
Sponge filter
⇒ Pull the sponge filter (5) out in the direction of the base and replace with
a new sponge filter.
7.3.2
Sinter filter
⇒ Pull the sponge filter out in the direction of the base.
⇒ Loosen the sinter filter (14) by turning counter-clockwise and remove.
⇒ Insert new sinter filter and tighten clockwise. The sinter filter should fit
tightly�
⇒ Replace the sponge filter.
In previous devices (serial number index A) the sinter filter was only
plugged in. In this case, pull out the sinter filter downwards and push
the new sintered filter in until it stops.
The sinter filter can also be cleaned in the ultrasonic bath.
(Recommendation: Plaster solvent GO-2011, Art.no. 2011-0000).
