Observe the specifications from the manufacturer of the deter-
gent and disinfectant and in the chapter "Overview of validated
procedures".
1. Place the product in a suitable rinsing basket carefully. In do-
ing so make sure the product is not touching other instru-
ments or parts of instruments.
2. Connect the product via the irrigation adapter to a rinsing
station.
3. Start a tested program with the following properties:
– Thermal disinfection: 5 to 10 minutes at 90 to 95 °C,

– Final rinse with distilled or deionized water.
– Sufficient product drying (no visible fluid residues).
4. If contaminants are still visible on the product after the end
of the routine, repeat precleaning and machine cleaning and
disinfection.
5. Remove the irrigation adapter when the program has ended.

Check
1. Check the product for visible damage and wear:
– Damage to the product, e.g. cracks, rough surface, splin-
tering, discoloration.
– Damage to the product insulation and/or cable/connec-
tor insulation, e.g. cracks and breaks.
– Damage to the coating.
– Bending of the product or parts of the product. Do not at-
tempt to straighten bent instruments!
2. Check the mechanical functionality of the product:
– In case of APC applicators with adjustable electrodes:
Can the electrode be extended and retracted?
– In case of flexible APC applicators Art. No. 20132-033,
20132-040, 20132-140: Can the APC applicator be
flexed?
If damaged, do not use this product!
