T-Connector Wiring Kit
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read instructions thoroughly
before beginning.
2. Open the vehicles tailgate and remove
each of the tail light housing assemblies by
removing the two fasteners on each
housing (Fig. 1) and carefully pulling the
housing to the rear of the vehicle at the
points specified.
Caution: Prying at points other than
those indicated could cause damage
to the tail light housings.
3. Beginning with the left (drivers) side, route the
T-Connector harness ends with the yellow and brown wires
out from under the vehicle, through the body opening to the
left tail light housing opening (Fig. 1A).
4. Disconnect the vehicle harness connector from the left
(drivers) side taillight, taking care not to damage the locking
tabs. Check the connector for dirt and debris and clean if
necessary (Fig. 2).
5. Position the T-Connector ends
between the seperated vehicle connectors.
Firmly press the connector ends together
until the locking tabs engage. Take care
not to damage the locking tabs.
