2.4. SAFE DEVICE USE
a)
Do not use the device if the ON/OFF switch does not
function properly (does not switch the device on and
off). Devices which cannot be switched on and off
using the ON/OFF switch are hazardous, should not
EN
be operated and must be repaired.
b)
Disconnect the device from the power supply
before commencement of adjustment, cleaning and
maintenance. Such a preventive measure reduces the
risk of accidental activation.
c)

device in order to change its parameters or construction.
j)
Keep the device away from sources of fire and heat.
ATTENTION! Despite the safe design of the device
and its protective features, and despite the use of
additional elements protecting the operator, there is
still a slight risk of accident or injury when using the
device. Stay alert and use common sense when using
the device.
3. USE GUIDELINES
The device is intended to weigh items placed on the
weighing pan. Warning! The device cannot be used for
commercial purposes. The user is liable for any damage
resulting from unintended use of the device.
The balance should be used in a space free of wind,
corrosion, vibration, humidity and temperature variations.
The scale should avoid vibration, violent air current, direct
sunshine and high temperature.

3.2. PREPARING FOR USE
LEVELLING THE DEVICE
The scale is equipped with a level indicator under the
weighing pan and four adjustable legs. Before using the
device, adjust the length of the legs until the bubble of the
level indicator is in the middle position.
TURNING THE DEVICE ON
When the device is being turned on, the weighing pan
should be empty. It is recommended to allow the device
to warm up for about 15-30 minutes before further use.
Perform calibration before first use.

3.3. DEVICE USE
COUNTING FUNCTION
The weight can count the goods depending on their weight.
This function can be used together with the tare function if
needed. To do this, place the container on the pan before
starting the counting and press the [TARE] button.
While the display is showing zero, press the [PCS] button.
The display will show the „—P 10—" message. Press the
[TARE] button to select the number of items to be sampled
(10, 20, 50, 100, 200, 500). Place the same number of items
on the weighing pan, then press the [PCS] button. Once the
measurement has stabilized, the sampling procedure will
end and you can use the counting function. The display will
show „FAIN" and the device will return to counting mode.
Hint: It is better to use more samples to make the counting
more accurate.
THE TARE FUNCTION
The tare is the weight of the container that can be
subtracted to read the weight of the item being weighed.
To use the tare function, place an empty container on the
weighing pan. When the device stabilizes, press the [TARE]
key. The display will show zero and the tare symbol will
light up. The tare weight (and the weight of the item) must
not exceed the maximum load of the device.
PRINT FUNCTION
During weighing, press the [PRINT] button. The measured
value will be sent to the computer.
CALIBRATION
Press the [TARE] button for about 2 seconds. The display
will show the weight that is to be placed on the device.
Place a load of the indicated weight on the pan and press
the [TARE] button after the device stabilizes. When the load
value is displayed, the calibration procedure is over.
RS-232 TRANSMISSION METHOD
This function allows the measurement data to be sent
to any terminal or serial port. The device uses a Simplex
asynchronous serial communication (can be changed to
Duplex if necessary) of the RS232 electrical interface.
The data transmission is in ASCII code.
Each data set has 10 bits. Information about the individual
bits:
bit1 bit2 bit3 bit4 bit5 bit6 bit7 bit8 bit9 bit10
BIT1: start bit
BIT2 - BIT9: data bit
BIT10: stop bit
Transmission speed: default „9600" bps.
TRANSMISSION DATA FORMAT
Bit 1 - 2: Operation mode:
»
WT - Weighing
»
CT - Counting
»
PC - Percentage mode.
Bit No. 3 - 4: Measurement status
»
OL - Overload
»
UL - Negative
»
ST - Stable
»
US - Unstable.
Bit No. 5 - 12: The measurement value contained
in 8 bits where one bit corresponds to the sign
separating decimal from integer values (here „."); if
the data does not take up all 8 bits, a space will be
used as the fill.
Rev. 20.09.2019
The „+" or „-" symbol is 1 bit (spaces are used instead
of the „+" symbol).
Bit 13 - 16: The current weight unit contained in 4
bits. If the unit does not take all the 4 bits in the
weighing mode or in the percentage mode, the
empty fields will be filled with spaces.
Bit 17 - 18: Movement to the beginning of the current
line and a new line are marked with „0DH", „0AH".

USE GUIDELINES
Do NOT leave a load on the scale for long periods
of time.
Avoid extreme temperatures. Do not place the unit in
direct sunlight or near air conditioning units.
Avoid using strong electrical or magnetic fields
during use.
Avoid vibration. Do not place the device near heavy
or vibrating machinery.
Do not place the unit close to open windows, doors
or fans that may cause unstable results due to air
currents.
Keep your machine clean. Do not store products on
the scale when it is not being used.
Avoid any strong shock or heavy weight. Don't put
any article or give pressure over maximum capacity
on the scale pan even the scale is not in use.
Wrong wires connection of storage battery is
forbidden. Right connection: Red wire should be
connected with red end; Black wire should be
connected with black end.

it in water.
f)
Do not allow water to get inside the device through
vents in the housing of the device.
g)
The device must be regularly inspected to check its
technical efficiency and spot any damage.
h)
Use a soft cloth for cleaning.
i)
Do not leave the battery in the device if it will not be
used for a longer period of time.
