y) Do not place the scale directly in the sun or near air conditioning systems.
z) Before taking a measurement, make sure that the device is placed on a stable
surface, is not exposed to vibrations or sudden temperature changes that may
adversely affect the measurement results.
aa) The scale should not be subjected to any shocks, mechanical pressure or falls.
bb) The scale should not be used near power-consuming devices such as welding
machines or large electric motors.

2.1. Electrical safety

CAUTION! The "electrical safety" rules must be followed when the unit is powered
from the mains.
a) The power plug must fit into the outlet. Do not modify the plug in any way.
Original plugs and matching outlets reduce the risk of electric shock.
b) Do not misuse the power adapter cord. Never use it to carry the unit or to pull
