Malfunctions
Direct intervention by the customer
In order to avoid unnecessary costs, ensure that the problem occurring in the machine is not included in the following table
before calling the servicing department.
DEFECT
The coffee machine does not work
and the display (14) is blank.
The coffee machine does not heat up.
Leak from edge of filter-holder (21,
25).
Coffee flow time too short.
Water leaks from under the machine.
Machine heated up, but it does not
dispense coffee.
The automatic level control devices
remain in operation.
The coffee is warm and weak (after
normal time of brew and flow).
The reading on the pressure gauge
(8) of the pump pressure is greater
than 9 bars.
CAUSE
No electricity.
The boiler resistance enabling key
(OK) was not pressed
The undercup gasket is dirty with
coffee residue.
Coffee grinds too coarse.
Coffee too old.
Drainage tank clogged.
Discharge pan hole blocked.
Water supply or water softener tap
closed. No water in system.
Same causes as above.
Air
bubble
in
thermosyphonic
circulation system.
The pump's by-pass valve is blocked.

REMEDY
Check that the electricity is on.
Check the position of the main switch
(1).
Press the key (OK)
Clean with the supplied brush.
Grind the coffee more finely.
Change the coffee
Clean the tank.
Clean.
Open.
Wait until water is available or call a
plumber.
Same solution as above.
Press the coffee distribution button 2/
3 times to try and eliminate the air
bubble.
Call
the
authorized
department.
