This section tells you how to customize
features to your particular telephone
environment.

You can change the ringing pattern for one
line so that you can tell which line is ringing
without having to look at the line indicators.
Furthermore, the ringing pattern for the line
that you change takes priority when you
receive incoming calls on both lines at the
same time.
To change the ringing pattern for one of the
lines, follow these steps with the phone on
the hook:
1. Press STORE/IN.
2. Press either 2, 3, or 4 on the number
keypad to choose a new ring (option 1 is
the default).
• Press 0 to turn off ringer.
3. Press STORE/IN and then press the line
button to which you want to assign the
new ringing pattern.

Check the setting of each ringer (on, off or
priority) by pressing STORE/IN when the
phone is on the hook:
• If ringer is off — No line indicator
• If ringer is on — Line indicator is red
• If ringer is on and line is priority — Line
indicator is green
