5. Preparation before sewing

5.1 Needle installation

Before starting the below described operations, power supply must be cut off in order to avoid accidents caused by
sudden machine start-up.
Choose correct needle for the material which will be sewn.

5.2 Inserting the bobbin case

Before starting the below described operations, power supply must be cut off in order to avoid accidents caused by
sudden machine start-up.
CAUTION
LONG GOOVE
1. Turn machine pulley until the needle bar is in its high-
est position.
2. Pull the latch (1) of bobbin case upward and then
remove the bobbin case.
3. The bobbin (2) will come out when the latch (1) is
released.
4. Inside bobbin case is located anti-spin spring (3)
which prevents the bobbin from unwinding the
thread excessively, for example while it is cut.

3. Insert the needle (2) into the
needle holder, push up, as far
as possible (position 0 = correct;
position x = incorrect).
Check if the needle's long
groove is directed to the left,
then tighten screw (1) securely.
