corresponding columns, or wire sheaves around which
the wire ropes run.

Runway positioning
3.5.1
Selection of location for control column
!
Make sure there is a clearance of at least 1 meter
between the lifting platform and fixed elements
(e.g. wall) in all lifting positions.
!
Successful, positive trial drilling in the foundation is
a prerequisite for installation.
1. Determine the location of the control column
(column with operating unit).
2. Perform trial drilling in the foundation.
3.5.2
Runway positioning
1. Place two approx. 250 mm high wooden blocks in
position to support the main runway.
!
Make sure the two single pulleys are located at the
front at the control column.
2. Set down the main runway on the wooden blocks.

3. Place two approx. 250 mm high wooden blocks in
position to support the secondary runway.
i
The secondary runway must be aligned in the same
manner as the main runway.
4. Set down the secondary runway on the wooden
blocks.
3.5.3
Runway alignment
¶
Set the runways to the correct spacing (approx.
1 meter) and align so as to be exactly in parallel.
The ends of the runways must be flush.
i
As a check, safety bars can be inserted through the
openings at the end of the runways. The two safety
bars must meet up exactly.
