Preparation by the user
2.6.1
Space requirements

Refer to Section 5 for the dimensions of the lifting
platform.
There must also be a clearance of at least 1 meter
between the lifting platform and fixed elements
(e.g. wall) in all lifting positions.
There must be sufficient space at the ends of the lifting
platform for driving vehicles on and off.

To stop vehicles colliding with the ceiling, it is
advisable to fit an overhead light barrier in low-
ceilinged buildings.
2.6.2
Construction of foundation

Verification by a structural engineer or construction
expert is required if the lifting platform is to be
anchored on an existing reinforced concrete floor.

The properties of the concrete and floor must be
checked prior to installation by performing trial
drilling.

Construction of the foundation following consultation
with Bosch customer service or an authorized service
agent.
The following types of foundation can be used:

4 x Individual footing (refer to Section 5.1)

2 x Continuous footing

1 x Raft foundation (or workshop floor)
